Job Posting: Outbound Forklift & Cherry Picker Operator – Pooler, GA
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Location: Pooler, GA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch; some overtime may be required)
(Pay rate increases by $1 after 90 days and upon direct hire)


Position Summary

The Outbound Forklift & Cherry Picker Operator is vital to the efficient shipping operations in our warehouse. This role centers on the skilled operation of forklifts and cherry pickers to prepare and move outbound shipments. You’ll be responsible for loading trucks, picking and staging orders, and organizing products for outgoing deliveries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles using forklifts and cherry pickers

  • Pick products from warehouse racks and stage pallets for outgoing orders

  • Stack and secure boxes and pallets for safe transportation

  • Move wooden pallets and organize outgoing inventory for shipment

  • Identify and report any damages, shortages, or quality issues with outbound shipments

  • Maintain accurate records of outbound inventory and activity logs

  • Utilize RF scanning equipment to track and record shipments leaving the warehouse

  • Assist with general warehouse tasks such as packaging and shipment preparation as needed

  • Follow company policies, safety protocols, and legal guidelines at all times

  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment

Requirements & Skills

  • Proven experience operating forklifts and cherry pickers in an outbound warehouse setting

  • Strong attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment

  • Excellent physical condition and coordination; able to lift and move items repetitively

  • Valid forklift operator certification required

  • High school diploma required
