Now Hiring: Laboratory Technician – Early Day Shift

Location: 6280 S Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84123, United States
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
Hourly Rate: $17.00
Department: Media & Glassware Cleaning

Job Description

As a Laboratory Technician, you will support testing throughout the lab, including glassware reprocessing, instrument preparation, media formulation, and sterilization.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Manufacturing, production, or assembly line experience helpful (not required)

  • Fast food or similar background is excellent

Essential Duties:

  • Perform tasks according to approved procedures and quality standards

  • Collaborate on quality events (unexpected results, deviations, etc.)

  • Use basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook)

  • Maintain good housekeeping practices

  • Follow all regulatory requirements (GMP, GLP, ISO) and company policies

  • Complete required training promptly

  • Identify and assist with continuous improvement initiatives

  • Attend work reliably and adhere to all policies

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment:

  • Professional laboratory setting and production role

  • Routine use of office and lab equipment (computers, phones, sterilizers, glassware washers, dispensing pumps, hand tools)

  • Possible exposure to biological & chemical hazards, carcinogenic compounds, and other environmental factors

  • Strict adherence to Biosafety and Chemical Hygiene practices required

Additional Requirements:
All candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background check prior to employment.
