Position Title: Inventory Support Specialist
Shift: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Range $18-$24 based on experience
- Inventory Support Specialist will focus on driving inventory accuracy process improvement and supporting cycle count initiatives across the business to maintain accurate accounting of quantities.
- Daily cycle counting of goods as prescribed, utilizing material handling equipment to thoroughly investigate and move materials when needed.
- Reading reports and accurate reconciliation of variances with the Planning group.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma
- High level of oral and written communication and training skills
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels within the organization
- 2 years forklift experience, stand up a plus
- experience in manufacturing environment.
- knowledge of MS office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).ERP systems such as Navision, SAP or equivalent
PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS
· Must have high attention to detail.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to use RF scanner.
· Drive improvements in the inventory accuracy process.
· Ensure accurate categorization of every skid and every shipping location and classify accordingly.
· Work with the Warehouse team to investigate movements in ERP system to identify inventory discrepancies.
· Interact with customer as requests for consigned inventory are received weekly.
