Cloud Engineer (Direct Hire)
**Up to $120K/year or more DOE**
*100% onsite at DISA in Ft. Meade, MD*
*Requires an active SECRET security clearance to start*
Kelly Government Solutions is hiring for a cloud engineer supporting DISA Nexus at Ft. Meade, MD. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments
- Support migration and modernization of enterprise systems into secure cloud environments
- Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM
- Ensure compliance with DoD and DISA security standards (STIGs, RMF, FedRAMP)
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to harden systems and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) status
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Five (5) years’ experience supporting IT and cloud environments preferred
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Experience with Workday software
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines & DevOps
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator preferred
