Now Hiring: Receiving Material Handler – (Peak Season)
Location: Rochester, NY (Gates area)
Pay:$17/hr.-$18/hr. — Based on experience

Shift:

  • A Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Mandatory 6th day during peak season

We’re partnering with a busy manufacturing facility in Rochester to hire a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Material Handler for A Shift. This is a temporary peak-season opportunity through the end of December, with potential for long-term consideration. This is also a great chance to earn extra cash for the holidays!

If you have strong receiving experience, enjoy working in a manufacturing environment, and have experience with cycle counting, this is a great opportunity to step into a key role and support production during the busiest time of the year.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Receiving incoming materials: unloading, verifying, and organizing inventory

  • Moving, staging, and delivering materials to production areas

  • Performing cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels

  • Recording material movements using inventory systems and documentation

  • Supporting material flow throughout the manufacturing floor

  • Following safety procedures and maintaining clean, organized work areas

  • Working mandatory overtime during peak season, including a potential Sunday shift

What We’re Looking For:

  • Receiving experience (required) – not shipping

  • Manufacturing background preferred (over general warehouse experience)

  • Cycle counting experience a strong plus

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift

  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable transportation is required; while a bus line services the area, available times do not align with the shift schedule
