Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000 (Direct Hire)
Location: Earth City, MO
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Summary
Kelly Services is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production Supervisor for a direct-hire opportunity with our client, a leading medical device manufacturer in Earth City, MO. The Production Supervisor will lead and coordinate daily operations on the production floor, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output goals and deadlines.

Assign work, monitor team performance, and adjust schedules to optimize workflow and productivity.

Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and internal quality requirements.

Train, coach, and develop production staff to foster engagement, accountability, and professional growth.

Monitor equipment usage and coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Enforce safety standards and conduct routine safety inspections.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production challenges.

Maintain accurate production records and report KPIs to management.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and enhance product quality.

Review and approve employee time and attendance, addressing discrepancies promptly.

Administer corrective and disciplinary actions fairly and in accordance with company policies.

Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production department.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
