Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000 (Direct Hire)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Summary

Kelly Services is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production Supervisor for a direct-hire opportunity with our client, a leading medical device manufacturer in Earth City, MO. The Production Supervisor will lead and coordinate daily operations on the production floor, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output goals and deadlines.

  
  

• Assign work, monitor team performance, and adjust schedules to optimize workflow and productivity.

  
  

• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and internal quality requirements.

  
  

• Train, coach, and develop production staff to foster engagement, accountability, and professional growth.

  
  

• Monitor equipment usage and coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

  
  

• Enforce safety standards and conduct routine safety inspections.

  
  

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production challenges.

  
  

• Maintain accurate production records and report KPIs to management.

  
  

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and enhance product quality.

  
  

• Review and approve employee time and attendance, addressing discrepancies promptly.

  
  

• Administer corrective and disciplinary actions fairly and in accordance with company policies.

  
  

• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  
  

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  
  

• Experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries preferred.

  
  

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  
  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

  
  

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications.

  
  

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
