What’s a typical day as a General Machinist II? You’ll be:
• Reading blueprints, drawings, charts, and tables to determine machining requirements.
• Editing and writing simple programs to support customized production runs. • Working to precise dimensions and tolerances provided by blueprints, ensuring high-quality output.
• Setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of machine tools, including both CNC and manual machines.
• Monitoring machine speed and feed during the machining process to ensure optimal performance and safety.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have proven experience with both CNC and manual machining.
• Are able to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Possess experience using FANUC and HAAS controls for lathes (preferred).
• Are able to work a full-time day shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to producing quality work.
