Sanitation – Sanitation Department
Location: Romeoville, IL
Pay: 18.00
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am
Environment: Refrigerated (cold conditions, approx. 35°F)
Dress code: Slip-resistant steel-toe shoes required
About the Role
We’re looking for a Sanitation to join our Sanitation team. This role is essential to keeping our production environment clean and safe, ensuring we deliver the highest quality products to our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in all buildings (production, distribution, administration).
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for proper cleaning.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and keep accurate cleaning records.
- Follow all GMP and food safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Sanitation Manager.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Good communication skills (English/Spanish a plus).
- Hardworking, dependable, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work in hot/cold, wet environments and lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for most of the shift.
- Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Exposure to temperature changes (coolers, hot areas).
