Quality Control Inspector
Location: Romeoville, IL
Department: Food Safety & Quality Assurance
Pay: 19.00
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
Environment: Refrigerated (cold conditions, approx. 35°F)
PPE: Steel-toed or composite-toed, skid-resistant shoes (composite preferred for cold)
About the Role
We’re looking for a Quality Control Inspector to help ensure our products meet the highest food safety and quality standards. You’ll work closely with the QA Shift Lead and Operations team to maintain compliance and deliver top-quality products to our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect production areas for cleanliness before operations.
- Check finished products for correct specifications and labeling.
- Identify and report GMP and HACCP violations.
- Perform CCP checks, metal detector tests, and net weight verification.
- Verify ingredients and ensure proper documentation is completed on time.
- Assist QA team and collaborate with Operations to resolve issues.
- Support special projects as assigned by QA leadership.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- 1–2 years of experience in a USDA-regulated environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
