Contract | Up to 18 Months | W2 through Staffing Supplier
$38/hr
Night Shift Schedule: Wed–Fri + Every Other Sat (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Training Schedule: Sun–Tue + Every Other Wed (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
About the Role
We are seeking a Metrology Equipment Technician to support photomask manufacturing operations at Intel. In this role, you will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced metrology tools while contributing to equipment performance, safety programs, and process improvements.
This position is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, hands-on problem-solving skills, and experience working with sophisticated semiconductor or metrology equipment.
Key Responsibilities

Operate, calibrate, and maintain metrology tools and equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting when issues arise.

Support production processes within photomask operations.

Follow defined procedures while exercising judgment on more complex tasks.

Maintain documentation, update training materials, and support team-level certification processes (buddy, trainer, certifier).

Participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team activities as needed.

Utilize programming knowledge to support metrology hardware and data pipeline infrastructure (Object-Oriented Programming—C++/C, Python, Java, etc.).
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (REQUIRED) in a related field:
Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.

1–5 years of relevant experience in a technical or engineering field.

Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (C++/C required; Python, Java, or similar languages a plus).

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.

Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
-
Experience with Metrology equipment: SEM, AFM, scatterometry, profilometry, or similar tools.

Familiarity working in a Linux environment.

Background in preventive maintenance or hands-on equipment support.
