Position Title: Quality Inspector
Reports To: Quality Supervisor
Regular Hours (2nd Shift): Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Training Hours (1st Shift): Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Winsted, CT (06098). This role will work on 2nd shift after completing training on 1st shift. You will be responsible for ensuring products meet strict quality standards through precise visual inspection and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed visual inspections using magnifiers, microscopes, and other inspection equipment.

Ensure all inspection equipment is properly calibrated before use.

Maintain clean, organized, and compliant inspection stations.

Clearly and accurately record and report inspection results.

Identify and segregate nonconforming products</strong>; initiate Discrepancy Reports.

Follow all stamp control procedures.

Maintain lot and sample traceability.

Review and understand new or revised specifications as required.
Requirements
-
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Ability to sit for 5–7 hours a day.

Ability to walk, push, carry, or lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Ability to stand as needed.

No visual color deficiencies (accurate color identification required).
