Position: Inventory Worker
Shift: M-F 8am-2:30/3pm (Must be flexible to work up to 40hrs/week)
Location: Fresno, CA
Payrate: $20/hr.
Job Description
The Inventory Worker is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing alarm equipment orders for shipment while maintaining high standards of speed, accuracy, and safety within the warehouse environment. This position plays a vital role in ensuring orders are fulfilled and shipped promptly each day.
Responsibilities
- Pick products from the pick line according to order requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and report any damaged or compromised products stored in the warehouse.
- Pack and arrange products efficiently with attention to minimizing shipping expenses.
- Inspect orders during packing to confirm accuracy and readiness for shipping.
- Assist with the shipping process after proper training on relevant equipment.
- Participate in weekly cycle counts to help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Fulfill daily shipping goals in alignment with site objectives.
- Adhere to company safety protocols at all times.
- Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on speed and accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to make sound decisions in the absence of direct supervision.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and a competitive, innovative mindset.
- Consistent punctuality and effective time management during scheduled work hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with standing and being on feet for extended periods.
- Must wear comfortable shoes for safety and performance.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening unless noted otherwise.
