Are you a seasoned robotic programming professional with a passion for pushing the boundaries of industrial automation? We are actively seeking a highly skilled Robot Engineer to lead cutting-edge projects within automotive and high-volume manufacturing environments. This pivotal role combines advanced robot programming, system integration, and troubleshooting expertise to ensure seamless production line launches and continuous operational excellence. Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in FANUC robot programming (offline and online), including creating programs from scratch, setting frames, TCPs, UTOOL/UFRAME, payloads, and I/O configurations.

  • Strong experience with ABB RobotStudio and FANUC RoboGuide for simulation, offline programming, and validation.

  • Hands-on knowledge of Yaskawa-Motoman programming (mid-level).

  • Demonstrated ability to develop new system programs, troubleshoot live systems, and optimize cycle times.

  • Deep understanding of robot path configuration for applications such as material handling, welding, sealing, and dispensing.

  • Experience with setting safety zones, interlocks, and managing complex integration projects.

  • Ability to collaborate with controls, mechanical engineers, and project teams during various project phases.

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 45% for customer site support, installation, and commissioning.

  • Familiarity with GM GRS standards and certification preferred; experience with other robot brands like Kawasaki and KUKA is a plus.

  • Automotive industry experience, particularly within body shop, general assembly, or high-volume manufacturing.

Nice to Have Skills

  • GRS certification or experience with GM GRS standards.

  • Knowledge of dispense systems, vision integration, or additional automation technologies.

  • Advanced simulation skills and experience with additional robot platforms.

  • Experience working in high-pressure production environments with minimal downtime.

  • Additional certifications in robotics or automation.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

  • Equivalent hands-on experience demonstrating mastery over robot programming and system integration.

  • Prior experience commissioning robots in manufacturing settings, including fault recovery and process optimization.

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 45% for site support, installation, and commissioning activities.

  • Strong documentation skills ensuring proper program backup, version control, and compliance with customer standards.

  • Ability to work effectively in team environments and communicate complex technical information clearly.
