Kelly Science has an Immediate opening for a QC Coordinator for our growing client in Covington, OH
Full-time
Direct Hire
Hours: 2,2,3 Schedule on nights
Pay: $24/hr-$28/hr
Scope of the Role
Perform routine environmental monitoring swabbing in the facility
Perform investigative environmental monitoring swabbing in the facility
Tracking of presumptive results and follow up swabs to meet the requirements of the facility environmental monitoring program
Back up to Microbiologist
Back up to QC Chemist
Foreign material review utilizing microscope
Foreign material tracking and trending
Assist Quality Lab Supervisor with additional tasks
Assist Environmental Microbiology Investigator with additional tasks
Experience Required
Must be able to demonstrate excellent Excel, PowerPoint and computer skills for data entry and presentation development
Bachelor’s Degree in science or related discipline (Food Microbiology preferred)
Possess 5 years’ experience in a lab environment (nutrition or food manufacturing preferred)
Effective communication skills both with verbal and written
Ability to communicate and work with multiple areas and departments
Excellent data collection and analysis skills
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrates ability to work independently
