Job details

Kelly continues to provide outstanding job prospects to top-tier talent in the job market. Currently, we’re in search of a part-time Medical Administrative Assistant for our client in Brantford, ON, on an ongoing temporary basis spanning 12 to 24 months.

As the primary face of the clinic, delivering consistent, professional, compassionate, and exceptional customer service is crucial. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities, along with the capacity to work autonomously.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviews telephone messages

  • Welcomes and checks in patients and performs health card validation

  • Timely answering of the phone and scheduling of patients

  • Conducting appointment reminder calls to patients

  • Preparing invoices and 3rd party account management

  • Collects, enters, and updates patient information in the EMR system

  • Arranges courier delivery for sensitive documents

  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, scanning, photocopying and faxing

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience within a medical office setting is an asset

  • Computer proficiency with MS Office and EMR

  • Knowledge of QHS Accuro is an asset

  • Ability to communicate information accurately and professionally

  • Friendly and welcoming personality

  • Ability to work in a fast pace and demanding environment

  • Part-time hours; Monday-Thursday 7:30am-1:00pm

  • 12–24-month assignment with a start date of May 27

  • Weekly pay via direct deposit
