Kelly’s hiring! Our client located in London is looking to hire a Legal Administrative Assistant for a 3-month opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a resource and point of contact via phone, email, and in-person, for current and potential clients, and other stakeholders, by analyzing situations and identifying issues using standard criteria, responding to inquiries, providing referrals, or re-directing inquiries as appropriate.

  • Perform a range of tasks ensuring that deadlines and schedules are met, including coordinating meetings for, and providing administrative support to, Caseworkers, Review Counsel and clients, ensuring that meetings are prioritized and scheduled based on time sensitivity and importance, and facilitating the review, format, and preparation of legal documentation and correspondence to be sent externally from CLS.

  • Create and manage specialized client databases and filing systems, tracks court appearance and limitation periods, arranges various support services as required

  • Serve as a resource and first point of contact, responding to general inquiries, supporting office staff with administrative duties, assisting with booking meeting spaces, and supporting the smooth administration of the Dean’s Office

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • 2 years of experience providing administrative support or client services in a legal office environment

  • 2-year diploma from a community college, ideally in Legal Administration or related program

  • Intermediate proficiency required in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams)

  • Verbal and written communication skills – adapt communication style to suit the situation and audience

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, to work independently and follow through on work assignments

  • Competency to maintain confidentiality and treat sensitive information with discretion

  • Ability to maintain a positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation

  • Ability to multi-task and maintain an organized and effective personal work environment

Perks Include:

  • Pay rate $23.00-$25.00 per hour (based on experience) + 4% vacation pay
