Production Operator Details:

  • 1st Shift: 3am – 1:30pm, Monday through Thursday

  • 2nd Shift:1pm – 11:30pm, Monday through Thursday

  • $18.00 – $18.50 per hour

  • Mandatory OT possible on Friday

  • Temp-to-hire job opportunity

What’s a typical day as a Production Operator? You’ll be:

  • Reading and following manufacturing order instructions to gather, measure, weigh, and document required ingredients.

  • Loading ingredients (up to 50 lbs.) into a mixer, blending them according to time specifications, and unloading the mixer to transfer the mixed batch to the next process.

  • Processing mixing batches through extrusion equipment to create the final product.

  • Using product controls to conduct sensory checks, ensuring the finished product meets customer specifications throughout the extrusion process

  • Managing and transferring finished products from extrusion and drying processes.

  • Applying the final touches to finished products using our panning process, which involves loading finished product into polishing pans and adding liquid ingredients manually or through automation.

  • Overseeing the transfer of finished products from extrusion processes to the next stage, utilizing drums, carts, or trays.

  • Troubleshooting machines and making minor repairs as needed. 

  • Using hand and electric pallet jacks.

  • Other duties as assigned.

You may be a good fit for this position, if:

  • You have 6 months of machine operation, production, assembly, or manufacturing experience.

  • You can lift up to 50lbs frequently, climb ladders, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • You have strong English and Math skills.

  • You can work overtime as needed.

  • You have new steel toed shoes or can get some before starting.

  • You have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
