Environmental Technician I – College Station, TX
Are you an organized and dependable individual with an interest in environmental work?
Kelly Science is seeking an Environmental Technician I to join their team in College Station, TX. This role supports the Environmental Services Division by assisting with various environmental tasks under the supervision of a project manager.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field activities like site evaluations, data collection, and sample collection (soil, groundwater, surface water).
- Analyze and reduce data, preparing technical reports.
- Assist with environmental construction monitoring.
- Manage subcontractors on assigned projects.
- Conduct inspections (stormwater, SPCC, other environmental).
- Interact with clients.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s degree in environmental science preferred.
- Training or certification in geosciences, compliance, natural resources, or cultural resources is a plus.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with company-approved auto insurance.
