A Typical Day as a Molding Technician:
Your responsibilities will include:

Setting up injection molding machines, performing changeovers, and safety checks

Adjusting processes to resolve defects and ensure quality output

Conducting quality inspections and basic preventive maintenance on molds and equipment

Managing material changes and documenting production data
-
Operating computer-based control systems like Shibaura Injectvisor
-
Supporting cross-functional teams and assisting operators as needed
This Role Could Be a Great Fit If You Have:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Up to 3 years in a manufacturing environment
Skills: Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and understanding of safety standards
Tech Savvy: Basic computer knowledge, experience with equipment control systems
Physical Ability: Able to lift 35 lbs., push/pull up to 80 lbs., and meet physical demands on the production floor
Nice-to-Haves:

Technical school background or certifications

Experience operating plastic injection molding equipment

Familiarity with Shibaura Injectvisor or similar machine interfaces

Preventive maintenance experience in manufacturing
Work Schedule & Location:
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM, Monday to Friday
Location: Southington, CT
Employment Type: Contingent Worker (10-month temp-to-hire assignment)
