The role of a tutor.

  • Work in small group sessions with students during school. These sessions are in-person.

  • Understand student learning gaps based on information given to you and teach district-provided curriculum that is tailored to each student’s need.

  • Also assist with homework, projects, and other academic tasks.

  • Foster strong and positive relationships with students through significant, consistent, and regular amounts of time.

  • Evaluate and report student progress.

  • Work in collaboration with classroom teachers and school administration, under the direct supervision of the Kelly® Education Tutoring Solutions Team.

Specific information about the Kelly® Education tutoring program in Bridgeton, NJ.

  • Provide in-person math tutoring sessions for grade levels K-8

  • Work in small groups throughout the school day (in-class and pull out)

  • Must be available Monday – Friday, approximately 8:15am – 3pm (schedules vary slightly by school)

  • Tutors will receive direct guidance from the teachers of record in the classes.

  • Each tutor will work with multiple groups per day in both push in and pull out sessions at the direction of the classroom teacher

  • Tutors will be fully integrated into student classrooms

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Previous tutoring/teaching experience required
