Job details

Position Title: Quality Analyst

Location: Frederick, MD- onsite

Duration: 6 month contract

Pay Rate: $21 per hour

# of positions open: 8

 

Typical Accountabilities:

• Conduct activities and interactions consistent with Company values and in compliance with the Code of Conduct and supporting Policies and Standards relevant to your role. Complete all required training on the AZ Code of Conduct and supporting Policies and Standards on time. Report potential issues of non-compliance.

Provide support services for analysts in the QC lab, including cleaning and maintaining the general lab facilities and glassware, ordering lab chemicals and supplies, and inventory management

• Performs aseptic sampling of viable and non-viable environmental monitoring and water

• Accurately complete all data entry requirements using ALCOA+ principles

• Prepare solutions and standards accurately and with appropriate documentation

• Operates the autoclave to ensure a reliable supply of sterile supplies

• Performs receiving duties

• Assists in QC archiving, logbook management, and records retention

• Performs basic metrology and housekeeping duties

• Maintains adequate inventories for tasks (eg… reagents, glassware, media, etc)

• Receives incoming samples for testing

• Participates in QC project teams

• May perform basic laboratory tests for which they are trained

• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication with personnel inside and outside of QC

• May fulfill other responsibilities as indicated by management and consistent with skill level and training

 

Essential: 

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years’ demonstrated capability performing duties in aseptic manufacturing areas

 

Desirable:

• Associate’s or other technical Degree

• Prior GMP experience

• Prior Biologics experience

• Experience in aseptic sampling and testing

• Microbiology experience

• QC experience
