Assembly Specialist Needed !
Kelly Services are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Assembly Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and disassembling mechanical/industrial pumps in accordance with a production plan. You will follow standard step-by-step operating procedures via computer instructions to ensure that pumps are reassembled correctly and meet company specifications.
Pay & Hours :
- $21.00 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday Available OT until 4:30pm
- $22.58 10am-6:30pm Monday-Friday Available OT start 8am-9am
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble/Disassemble Pumps: Follow detailed work instructions to disassemble and reassemble mechanical/industrial pumps.
- Production Targets: Meet productivity, volume, and efficiency targets.
- Safety & Quality Standards: Adhere to established safety procedures and ensure quality standards are met.
- Test Equipment: After training, disassemble and assemble mechanical equipment into components, identify damages/faults, and test equipment performance.
- Work Environment: Ensure that safety and behavior standards are upheld to maintain a safe and productive workshop.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Aptitude: Experience working with mechanical systems, like automotive repair or taking things apart and reassembling them, is ideal.
- Basic Computer Skills: Ability to use a computer to pull up work instructions, standard operating procedures, and technical drawings.
- Automotive Experience: Not required, but it’s a plus.
- Safety Gear: Must wear safety shoes (steel-toed or composite-toed). Safety glasses and hearing protection are provided (hearing protection required in certain areas).
- Clothing: Long pants/jeans are acceptable, and uniforms will be provided within the first couple of weeks.
