Substitute Teacher: $130/ a day
60+ College Credit Hours & Certified Teacher: $150/ a day
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18+ years of age of older (Middle/High Schools 21+ years of age or older)
- Negative TB Test
- Pass Background Screens
- Completion of Kelly Education Training
Paraprofessional/Teacher Assistant: $15/hr
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18+ years of age of older (Middle/High Schools 21+ years of age or older)
- Negative TB Test
- Pass Background Screens
- Completion of Kelly Education Training
Responsibilities:
– Provide instruction and support to students in various subject areas, including math, literacy, and special education.
– Follow lesson plans and curriculum provided by the regular classroom teacher.
– Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students, including those with autism or other developmental challenges.
– Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and student engagement.
– Monitor student behavior and enforce classroom rules and procedures.
– Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.
– Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher regarding student progress and any issues that arise during the day.
Requirements:
– High School diploma and experience in education or a related field preferred.
– Experience working with children.
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
– Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and follow established lesson plans.
– Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children.
-Must be available to work at least eight days a month.
Note: This position is on an as-needed basis, filling in for regular classroom teachers when they are absent. Substitute teachers may be called upon to work in various grade levels, from preschool to high school.
