Job details
Kelly® is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for the startup, operation, cleanup, and shutdown of machines and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures, ensuring that production demands and quality targets are met.
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Rate: $21/hr – $22/hr
Schedule: 7 PM – 7 AM, 2-2-3 Schedule
CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Start up, operate, clean, and shut down machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Stage materials using barcoding and labeling, while maintaining accurate inventories during production runs.
- Customize equipment settings based on customer and product requirements.
- Follow precise test procedures as outlined in the control document and based on specifications.
- Operate hoists and pallet jacks while performing daily inspections.
- Utilize technology for data entry to determine material and product specifications, and to enter production and quality data during and after production runs.
- Visually inspect products during production to ensure compliance with all specifications.
- Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipping, including placing them on skids and bundling.
- Reading blueprints, loading materials, inspection and measurements.
CNC Machine Operator Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
