Job Title: Production Assistant
Rate: $17.00/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
Job Description:
The Production Assistant plays a vital role in supporting digital printing operations by operating both automated and non-automated bindery equipment. This position is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of daily tasks related to bindery operations, large format printing and finishing, materials handling, and shipping. The Production Assistant upholds high-quality standards and promotes customer satisfaction by effectively managing workflow and adhering to established quality control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate automated and manual bindery equipment to support digital printing services.
- Manage Large Format Printing/Finishing operations, including handling materials and shipping.
- Execute workflow management scans to ensure order tracking, quality control, and productivity data capture.
- Maintain ongoing quality control through detailed execution of daily work assignments.
- Promote customer satisfaction by efficiently managing individual tasks and adhering to deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in production or printing operations.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a professional environment.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and follow detailed instructions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Strong communication and active listening skills to address customer and team needs.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new processes within company guidelines.
- Effective time management and multitasking skills.
- Basic computer proficiency required.
