Job Description:
The Assembly Team Operator is responsible for the operation of equipment, product segregation, quality inspection, disposition, and documentation along with manual product assembly as required. Perform basic preventive maintenance, changeover, and troubleshooting on equipment; ensure compliance with SOPs and specifications; perform data collection and product dispositioning.

- $21.00 per hour
- Monday – Friday, 2:45pm to 11:15 pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform equipment and product inspections for start-up and ongoing operations.
- Segregate and disposition product based on inspections.
- Conduct shop floor data collection tasks.
- Perform manual assembly and product rework tasks.
- Prevent the occurrence of product and process nonconformances and document them when needed.
- Scan product into MRP system; use computers for testing and labeling.
- Provide solutions to quality or safety concerns through designated channels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and business practices, including FDA regulations, GMP, and ISO requirements.
- Assist in training new Operators.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills and Qualifications:
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge/use of computers.
- Adequate fine motor hand coordination.
- Sound judgment for product disposition.
Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Less than 1 year of experience; manufacturing background preferred.
Work Environment:
- Work involves use of manufacturing equipment or close proximity to equipment, with possible exposure to biohazards/chemicals.
- Can range from clean room environments to open production areas with noise and moving equipment.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, crouching, climbing, bilateral motion involving hands, wrists, and upper body.
- Requires concentrated visual attention.
