Job Type: Full-Time | Pay: $26.00
Shift: Monday–Friday,2:00pm-10:30pm
Job Description
We are currently hiring a Manual Machinist with proven experience in operating grinders, band saws, power saws, and using hand tools. You will be responsible for cutting, grinding, and shaping materials to exact specifications in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manual grinders, band saws, and power saws
- Use hand tools to finish and assemble metal components
- Accurately take measurements using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Maintain equipment and keep a clean, organized work area
- Follow all safety and quality standards
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in manual machining
- Skilled in using grinders, saws, and hand tools
- Strong measuring skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a job shop or custom fabrication setting
- Familiarity with different metals and cutting techniques
- Basic mechanical maintenance knowledge
