Job Title: Part-Time Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Location: Durham, NC (Hybrid)
Industry: Flavor, Fragrance, Food, Brewing, Distilling, Confectionery, Nutraceutical
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, flexible to come onsite as needed, the rest remote work from home
Hourly Pay Rate: $35-$48

Job Overview
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Affairs Professional to join a dynamic team on a part-time or full time hybrid basis. This role involves ensuring regulatory compliance for food and beverage products, developing comprehensive documentation, and supporting facility audits. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in food safety regulations while benefiting from the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and safety guidelines.

Prepare, review, and maintain regulatory documentation.

Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Marketing to provide regulatory support.

Develop and implement regulatory strategies for timely product approvals.

Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, managing inquiries and communication.
Qualifications
-
4+ years of regulatory affairs experience, with knowledge of GFSI, HACCP, Food Safety, Organic, Kosher, and GMO.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).

Strong attention to detail, communication, and ability to interpret complex regulations.

Experience working in document management systems.

Part-time role with flexible scheduling in a hybrid work environment.
