Job details

Kelly, in partnership with a growing food manufacturing company, is looking for a Plant Manager in Milwaukee, WI 
 
This is a direct hire position, meaning you will be hired directly with our client and offered their competitive benefit, wage and vacation package upon hire!
 
Benefits:

  • Health, dental and vision insurance

  • Three weeks of vacation, five days of PTO and nine paid holidays

Details:

  • 1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday

  • Pay: $140,000 – $190,000 annually plus 10% bonus

  • Location: Milwaukee, WI

Job Description:

  • Production: Plan production schedules, establish production goals, and develop strategies to meet those goals while minimizing costs

  • Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for plant workers and uphold safety standards

  • Equipment: Diagnose equipment problems, make repairs, and order new equipment

  • Employees: Hire and train new employees, build and maintain trusting relationships with them, and communicate performance expectations

  • Quality: Ensure product quality and on-time shipping

  • Compliance: Monitor processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures

Experience:

  • 5+ years of production management experience required.

  • USDA Food manufacturing experience required

  • 3 + years of experience in a managerial capacity in a manufacturing environment required.

  • Experience and exposure to regulatory inspections (AIB, OSHA, ASI, Health Dept.,EPA, City and County Inspectors)
