What’s a typical day as a Fin Clipper? You’ll be:
• Performing routine fish identification duties under close supervision, including fin clipping, coded-wire tagging, and other marking techniques.
• Assisting the Lead and hatchery staff with quality inspections and the transfer of fish from ponds or net pens to the trailer.
• Cleaning and sanitizing the trailer, work areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and other employee-used areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control in fish marking processes.
• Are able to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required by the hatchery operations.
• Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
