Kelly Services is seeking a high-impact Buyer to join a global leader in the rail industry based in Sherman, TX. This direct hire opportunity is perfect for a skilled purchasing professional ready to grow into a strategic procurement leadership role with visibility across multiple departments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Negotiate vendor contracts, leases, and pricing on products, packaging, and tools.

  • Manage purchase orders and track procurement activity across multiple sites.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, Accounts Payable, and suppliers to streamline processes.

  • Become a Coupa Software certified admin—yes, they’ll train you!

  • Analyze monthly spending data for budgeting and forecasting.

  • Approve new suppliers and coordinate hazardous materials reviews.

  • Contribute to impactful decisions in a fast-paced, global environment.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Sales, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in purchasing and negotiations (especially in production/materials).

  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of savings.

  • Proficiency in SAP/LN BON and Advanced Excel reporting.

  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder.

  • Familiarity with shop supplies, mobile equipment, and vendor leasing is a plus!

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM (100% Onsite)

  • Location: Sherman, TX

  • Salary: $50,000–$60,000/year

  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with 6% match, PTO, Paid Holidays & Vacation

  • Travel: Occasional visits to suppliers and operations sites
