Now Hiring: Extrusion Technicians (3 Shifts Available) 
Location: Taunton, MA 
Pay Rate: Starting at $18/hour (Pay based on experience)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Shifts Available:

  • 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM


  • 2nd Shift: 3:45 PM – 12:00 AM


  • 3rd Shift: 11:45 PM – 8:00 AM

About the Role:
Our client is currently seeking three Extrusion Technicians to join their team—one for each shift. These are temp-to-hire opportunities with training provided for entry-level candidates. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a higher starting pay based on skills and background.

As an Extrusion Technician, you’ll support the operation, troubleshooting, and cleaning of manufacturing equipment in a commercial or medical production environment. This role involves hands-on work with extrusion machinery, quality assurance, documentation, and mentoring within a team-based setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and adjust extrusion manufacturing equipment.


  • Perform equipment troubleshooting and quality checks.


  • Use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, vision systems).


  • Maintain accurate production documentation (GMP/ISO 13485).


  • Monitor raw material usage and product flow.


  • Conduct equipment clean-ups and changeovers.


  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.


  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.


  • Train and support new or junior team members.


Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Prior extrusion experience (medical or industrial) is a plus.


  • Experience in complex medical extrusions (e.g., multi-lumen, bump tubing) is a bonus.


  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities.


  • Ability to read and use precision measuring instruments.


  • Basic math skills, including metric system familiarity.


  • Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.


  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Technical High School or STEM-related Associate’s degree preferred.


  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent skillset.


  • Experience in regulated manufacturing (ISO 9001/13485) preferred.


  • Background in melt extrusion is a plus.
