Job details

Job Title: Warehouse Worker 

Location: Reardan, WA 99029

Work Hours and Shifts: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekend work)

Pay Rate Range: $19 – $20.50 per hour (based on experience)

Length of Assignment: Approximately 3-6 months (temporary position)

Physical Requirements: Lifting boxes up to 65 lbs (average boxes are 25-35 lbs)

Additional Requirements: Steel-toed boots required; all other PPE will be provided


Job Summary

The Warehouse worker serves customers by maintaining and processing physical assets stored in our Records Center. Warehouse workers handle incoming and outgoing orders, load and move boxed items and wheeled bins, and manage internal moves, permanent withdrawals, and special projects.


Primary Functions

  • Order Processing: Handle daily incoming work orders and rush orders from Client Services; scan carton barcodes and locations with handheld scanners.

  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve order discrepancies; manifest all orders, bundle, and prepare for shipment.

  • Scanning: Scan all incoming containers, files, and tapes each morning; notify your supervisor of any discrepancies.

  • Client Reviews: Process client onsite record reviews.

  • Retrieval: Retrieve files, containers, and tapes daily.

  • Timely Filing: Put up files within 48 hours, containers within 24 hours, and tapes within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Loading/Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading company trucks and vans.

  • Scanner Communication: Ensure regular scanner communication and process steps are completed daily.

  • Maintenance: Maintain assigned racking and row upkeep.

  • Paperwork: Accurately prepare all necessary paperwork.

  • Issue Communication: Communicate any difficult order issues to the manager.

  • Equipment Inspection: Inspect and maintain all equipment, including scanners and record center vehicles.

  • Auditing: Perform auditing as scheduled or requested.

  • Safety: Observe safety procedures, including container/lid replacement and repair, and keep floors free of debris; report any safety issues to the direct supervisor.

  • Regular Communication: Communicate regularly with your direct supervisor about any potential issues related to your job or the client.
