Job Title: Sales Representative

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Sales Representative for direct hire position at an industry-leading biotechnology client in Alameda, CA.  Our client plays a pivotal role in the study of protein post-translational modification (PTM) and epigenetics through its integrated platform of reagents, IVD raw materials, advanced mass spectrometry, and bioinformatics tools. Location: Remote position – East Coast/West Coast/Midwest Region/South Region
Salary: $80,000-$150,000 annually plus commission and bonus incentives
Position Overview:
In this role, you’ll be working with industry leaders and partners to drive commercial efforts and revenue growth for proteomics services. This role will give you an opportunity to establish strategic partnerships and expand business opportunities while helping redefine the landscape of biomedical research.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and develop new customer accounts for proteomics services, nurturing these leads into long-term business relationships.

  2. Establish and grow strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, and diagnostics companies.

  3. Provide strategic insights and perform competitive market analysis to identify growth opportunities.

  4. Collaborate with Product Management and R&D teams to refine service offerings.

  5. Build and manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the proteomics field.

  6. Represent PTM Bio at national and regional conferences, trade shows, online events, and corporate meetings.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Biology, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or related scientific discipline.

  2. At least 1 year of account management or customer-facing experience in the biotech industry.

  3. Experience engaging with pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or CRO clients is strongly preferred.

  4. Proven track record in business development and/or sales of proteomics services.

  5. Strong understanding of the proteomics analysis market.

  6. Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
