Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts receivable (AR), and will also assist with accounts payable (AP), and purchasing functions within our manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Manage and monitor customer invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile AR ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate action.
- Coordinate with the sales team to resolve any billing discrepancies.

Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments per company processes.
- Reconcile AP ledger to ensure all expenses are accounted for and properly posted.
- Review and verify expense reports and payment requests.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and resolve any payment issues.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments per company processes.

Purchasing:
- Oversee the purchasing process to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Review and approve purchase orders and requisitions.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of AR, AP, and purchasing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capability to research independently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
COMPENSATION
- This full-time position includes our comprehensive benefit package of Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-term Disability, and 401k plan with match. Company-paid Long-term Disability and Life Insurance, PTO and paid-holidays
- Wage expected to be between $25.00-$35.00 per hour, but will be dependent on experience
HOURS
Hours will typically be 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, occasional overtime as needed
