Kelly is currently seeking an experienced Associate Laboratory Technician for a 1 year contract opportunity in Narrows, VA! The Associate Laboratory Technician will provide technical support by operating lab pilot-scale mixers, pumps, and tanks according to a provided trial plan or procedure.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review of process controls and data for report out and further optimization.
- Effectively communicate data and trial learnings to coordinator for continuous improvement.
- Employee will be expected to use initiative and troubleshooting skills to help identify problems and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, process laboratory environment, or hands-on research facility.
- Mechanical acumen and chemical handling experience preferred.
- Employee must be able to work independently with limited instruction.
- Must be able to lift up to 50-lbs and move heavy items with assistance occasionally.
