Welder
Location: Eastlake, Ohio
Pay: $20–$30/hr. (Based on Experience)
Hours: 7am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
60-90 day assignment
Kelly Services are seeking a Welder in Eastlake to join our team on a temporary basis, with potential for temp-to-hire. Do you have experience in welding techniques, including TIG and MIG, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. APPLY TODAY!
Key Responsibilities:
- Weld metal parts together using various techniques (TIG, MIG, etc.)
- Perform related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding
- Fix parts, fill holes, and increase the size of metal components
- Position and clamp fabricated metal components in preparation for welding
- Follow instructions and tasks provided by the lead Welder
Assist the Safety Manager with policy implementation, employee activities, and incentive program creation
Requirements Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of related welding experience
- Manufacturing or trade school experience preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
- Must wear appropriate PPE: steel-toe boots and long pants
