Kelly® Science & Clinical is currently recruiting for a Copywriter for a 6-month contract opportunity with a global life sciences company in San Diego, CA. Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and technically adept Scientific Proofreader/Copywriter to bolster our client’s Marketing Communications team. This position entails crafting and polishing content for sophisticated marketing materials in the domains of biomedicine, biotechnology, and cell and gene therapy (CGT).
Responsibilities
- Meticulously proofread and refine brochures, flyers, PDFs, and other marketing materials.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Copywriter and Marketing Communications Director.
- Ensure all content maintains accuracy, brand consistency, and alignment.
- Aid in the launch of new products and the revision of existing product materials.
- Engage cross-functionally with marketing, leadership, and product teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science discipline
- 3–5 years of professional experience in copywriting and proofreading within the biotech or life sciences sectors.
- Solid understanding of technical and scientific terminology.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
