Are you passionate about technology and eager to start your career in IT support? We are looking for an enthusiastic Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join our team in Roseau, MN. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for our internal users while gaining hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Pay: $25-28/hr based on experience
$2,500 sign on bonus (paid out incrementally throughout the first year)
This position is ONSITE in Roseau, MN, MUST be able to commute to Roseau, MN
Hours: Monday-Friday Business Hours
Key Responsibilities
- Assist users with resolving hardware and software issues.
- Provide support for operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Respond to support requests via phone, email, or in person.
- Document and track user issues using a ticketing system.
- Set up new workstations and peripherals for employees.
- Maintain inventory of computer systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with the IT team on projects and improvements.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Associate degree or certification in IT-related fields.
Work Environment
- Collaborative team setting with opportunities for professional growth.
- Exposure to a variety of IT tasks and technologies.
- Onsite support with occasional remote tasks.
