Position: Custodial/Janitorial Associate
Location: Local Warehousing Facility in Pooler, GA
Status: Immediate Start
Compensation: $16.50/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Opportunity: Excellent temp-to-hire position with a reputable company
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks within the warehouse facility
- Sanitize restrooms, mop floors, manage paper towel supplies, and dispose of trash
- Maintain clean break rooms by sweeping, mopping, and managing trash cans
- Regularly check and maintain warehouse trash bins and ensure outdoor cleanliness
- Clean office spaces including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and vacuuming as needed
Requirements:
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in janitorial or custodial roles
- Ability to adapt to a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to train on using high-reach lift trucks for overhead cleaning
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends
- Team-oriented mindset
- Capability to train on operating a floor scrubber
- Understanding of safe chemical handling, including caustics and acids
- Proficiency in using a pressure washer safely
- Competency in reading, writing, and communicating in English to comprehend job-related terminology
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, squat, stoop, and carry items
- Capacity to work in warm, dusty environments
- Strong organizational skills to enhance job efficiency
- Precision and timeliness in work execution
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in warehousing environments is a plus
