Job details

Position: Forklift Operator
Location: Pooler, GA
Compensation: $17.50 – $18.50/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload goods from containers and trailers

  • Transport goods on pallets or in crates within the storage facility

  • Accurately stack goods according to inventory control procedures

  • Ensure loads are securely fastened

  • Organize and stack empty pallets

  • Conduct daily equipment checks, including recharging or changing propane tanks

  • Remove attachments and waste materials from machinery

  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards

Qualification Requirements:

  • Proficient in math, language, and reading skills

  • High attention to detail to ensure safety and prevent injuries

  • Ability to follow equipment operation instructions and maintain records

  • Execute tasks accurately, safely, and timely

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Forklift certification in line with OSHA standards

  • Preferably 1+ years of forklift operation experience
