Job Specifications:
– Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
– Location: Petersburg, VA
– Pay Rate: $35/hr
– Shift: 1st
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Inspect, repair, troubleshoot, remove, install, operate, and assemble complex systems such as pumps, motors, and compressors.
– Replace electrical bucket components and perform wiring for motors and lights.
– Remove, replace, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical valves; install electronic and mechanical instrumentation devices.
– Cut, thread, and fit piping systems as needed.
– Operate various tools, including hand, pneumatic, and electric tools, as well as welders.
– Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate repairs and installations.
– Follow all safety guidelines and complete incident reports as necessary.
– Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
– High School Diploma or equivalent.
– Ability to use computers effectively.
– Strong ability to work with limited supervision.
– Preferred: Proximity to the work site (Petersburg/Prince George/Colonial Heights).
– Knowledge of electrical components and connections, as well as safety compliance.
