Why you should apply to be an Assistant Machine Operator:
- Pay starting at $22.50/hour
- 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM. This is a full-time position, Monday-Thursday, 36-hour weeks.
- Train on first shift for 2-3 weeks on a 6AM-3:30PM schedule.
- Temporary to possible hire opportunity, with potential for growth into higher-level machine operation roles.
- Comprehensive benefits plan upon permanent hire
Job Summary: Assists machine operator by performing the following duties. Help operator with set-ups, gather components, quality checks, hang rolls and packaging. Assist with light maintenance. Operates machine in absence of operator.
What a typical day as an Assistant Machine Operator looks like:
- Assists operator in monitoring operation of equipment to ensure efficient and effective operation.
- Assists operation Analyzing, identifying and correcting problems using appropriate tools and resources.
- Ensures finished goods meet or exceed specifications.
- Assists operator in ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
- Take direction from operator.
- Read job ticket/BOM to ensure correct components are gathered.
- Inspect/measure product to verify specifications are met using quality tools.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Related work experience
- Be able to regularly lift 25-50 pounds
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Simple mathematic skills
