Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Account Manager to lead sales and service initiatives in the Pulp & Paper and Water Treatment industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and at least 10 years of proven success in sales and service within these industries. Experience in a corporate account management role is highly desirable.

This position focuses on managing key customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning our chemical solutions with customer needs. The role will require travel up to 50%, depending on client and business requirements.

Industry Focus: Pulp & Paper, Water Treatment, Paints & Coatings


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of direct customer accounts and distributor partnerships, focusing on revenue, margin, and volume.

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans, maintaining a healthy sales funnel in collaboration with sales leadership.

  • Identify and respond to competitive threats through collaborative planning with internal sales and technical teams.

  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across customer organizations.

  • Apply chemical knowledge to support customer applications—particularly in defoamer chemistries, silica, and other pulp and paper additives.

  • Conduct site visits and technical evaluations (e.g., foam cell testing, retention/drainage studies).

  • Investigate and resolve product quality concerns, coordinating with internal production and QA teams.

  • Provide regular business updates, including forecasting, budgeting, and raw material planning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of direct sales and service experience in the Pulp & Paper or Water Treatment industries.

  • Previous experience in a Corporate Account Manager or equivalent strategic sales role is strongly preferred.

  • Solid technical knowledge of chemical composition and product application; a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field is highly preferred.

  • Proven track record of managing complex sales accounts and delivering results.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with customers and internal teams.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.

  • Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
