About Us:
Join our client’s team, a leader in precision machining serving Waxahachie, TX. We specialize in producing high-quality metal parts and tools using state-of-the-art CNC machinery. About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC machines such as Haas VF-4 & VF-4SS to produce precision components. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will interpret technical drawings, select appropriate tools, and perform quality checks to ensure all parts meet our stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes) to fabricate precision parts.


  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs to understand specifications and tolerances.


  • Select and set up tools, attachments, and fixtures according to job requirements.


  • Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.


  • Troubleshoot machine, tooling, or programming issues as they arise.


  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines.


  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.


  • Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to optimize machining processes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in CNC machining preferred.


  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.


  • Strong proficiency in CNC programming (G-code) and setup.


  • Familiarity with milling, turning, and grinding processes.


  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.


  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.


  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.


  • Solid understanding of machining safety protocols.
