Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator II specializing in CNC operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in procuring materials, loading CNC programs, and overseeing projects from start to finish with a strong focus on precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Material Procurement:
- Obtain and prepare materials needed for machining projects.

CNC Programming & Operation:
- Load CNC programs and set up machines to produce parts to precise specifications.
- Operate CNC machines with accuracy, achieving tolerances down to one ten-thousandth of an inch.

Precision Measurement:
- Utilize calipers, micrometers, and rulers to measure and verify the dimensions of machined parts.
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications.

Project Management:
- Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in machining, specifically with CNC mills and/or lathes.
- Programming experience is a plus; familiarity with Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is also advantageous.

- Comfortable with mathematics and able to perform calculations related to machining processes.

- Ability to communicate effectively; regular updates to management are essential.

Schedule:
- Work Hours: 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (4/10 schedule).
- Time Off: Requires a 2-week notice for time off requests.
- Sick Days: 5 sick days included; Paid Time Off (PTO) available after 90 days, up to 2 weeks earned.
Compensation:
- Starting Pay: $20/hour, with the potential to increase to $26/hour based on experience.
- Top Pay: Flexible depending on qualifications and expertise.
Additional Information:
- Candidates must pass a drug screening and background check.
- Job hopping will exclude candidates from consideration.
