Kelly Services is working with a logistics and distribution client seeking a Warehouse Distribution Lead in Amherst. This is a leadership role that will help stand-up and grow this new warehouse, hire employees and grow a robust inventory of supplies
Will start working 20 to 30-hrs/week advancing to 40-hours/week as the site warehouse location grows. This role is1st shift schedule, Monday – Friday, and $19/HR.
Required to be independent, 100% reliable, proven job stability, and willing to grow their career into full time with leadership responsibilities.

Job Title: Warehouse Distribution Lead
Work Schedule: 20 to 30-hrs/week up to 40-hrs/week once warehouse is fully operating
Pay Rate: $19/HR
Location: Amherst, NY
Responsibilities “At-a-Glance”:
- This is a leadership role to help stand-up and grow this brand new warehouse, hire employees and grow a robust inventory of supplies
- Manage daily warehouse operations such as receiving, inventory, order processing, packing, and shipping.
- Open/close the warehouse and securing the facility
- Work independently with limited supervision
- Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods, inbound receipts, outbound shipments, and customer returns
- Handle inventory accuracy, documentation checks, packaging compliance
- Document and report in WMS program and MS Office
Job Requirements and Preferences:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2 years working in a warehouse environment
- Warehouse leadership is a plus
- 2 years of Warehouse Management System and MS Office software experience
