Job Title: Solderer
Location: Rochester Hills, MI
Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Full Time: Temp-to-Hire role
Summary:
Join our team as a Solderer, where you will be responsible for performing various tasks, including soldering, bonding, wiring, assembly, disassembly, and more, using electronic parts and components. You’ll work with a variety of hand tools and ensure high-quality standards through meticulous visual and dimensional inspections. Your efforts will be crucial in moving completed products to the next phase of production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Solder electronic components into assemblies following J-STD-001 standards.
- Perform visual inspections of PCBs against IPC-A-610 criteria.
- Assemble components and hardware, adhering to routes, visual aids, and engineering changes.
- Access job documentation and maintain logs using a Windows PC.
- Ensure proper assembly and identify defects or damaged components.
- Modify units to current revision standards.
- Follow safety rules and maintain an orderly work area.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualification Requirements:
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and workmanship standards.
- Proficiency in following verbal and written instructions in English.
- Skills in using hand, air, and soldering tools and identifying electronic components.
- Ability to frequently lift/carry products up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and basic math skills.
- Experience working with microscopes and magnification devices.
- Ability to work collaboratively and with minimal supervision.
