Position Overview:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and projects. This remote role requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license and is focused on electrical design work for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Design: Create innovative electrical systems and designs for projects, ensuring functionality and compliance with industry standards.
- Project Management: Oversee electrical aspects of projects from conception through completion, coordinating with other engineering disciplines as needed.
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice and support in the field of electrical engineering, resolving complex design challenges.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including schematics, technical specifications, and project reports.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure electrical designs meet all necessary regulations and standards.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with project teams and clients remotely, using virtual collaboration tools to maintain clear communication.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in electrical engineering, with a focus on design projects.
- Licensure: Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Skills: Proficient in electrical design software and tools, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills.
- Remote Work: Comfortable working in a remote setting, capable of using digital tools for communication and project management.
