Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$20 hr
What’s a typical day as a Operator? You’ll be:
– Regenerating ion exchange resins and other filtration media to ensure optimal plant operations.
– Preparing mobile filtration units, including proper resin loading, equipment checks, and testing with kits, meters, and pumps.
– Operating forklifts to facilitate the movement and management of materials and equipment.
– Conducting quality control checks on mobile units prior to dispatch to ensure compliance with standards.
– Handling chemicals such as NaOH, HCL, and NaCL as part of the regeneration process.
– Overseeing chemical vendor offloading to tanks and managing transfers.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
– Have 3-5 years of experience in a light industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably with a focus on water treatment or filtration.
– Are comfortable working with chemicals and have a strong understanding of safety protocols.
– Possess a valid forklift operator certification and have experience in forklift operation.
– Are available for a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with flexibility for overtime as needed.
